It commonly loves to cluster with other sins. To swear is neither brave, polite nor wise. The foolish and wicked practice cursing is a vice so mean that person of sense and character detests and despises it. You neither gain profit or pleasure bu swearing It is the language of woe. Not common to a person of genteel and good breeding. Result of an idle tongue. Profane-ness is a brutal vice.. he who indulges in it is no gentleman. It does no good. No man is wiser, richer or happier by it. It is disgusting, abominable, insulting, degrading, unprofitable and injurious.
